SOBRE EL SICA
El Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de Nicaragua, saluda fraternalmente a todos los Pueblos y Gobiernos de Nuestra América Central, reunidos en el Sistema de Integración Centro-americana.
El día de hoy se realizó el Encuentro de Cancilleres para decidir las Propuestas, a los Presidentes de la Región, pendientes desde el 16 de Noviembre del 2023, sobre la Secretaría General del SICA, cuyo Asiento corresponde, por Derecho y Orden Institucional del Sistema, al Pueblo y Gobierno de Nicaragua.
La Reunión concluyó sin consenso por las consultas que todavía realizan Gobiernos de nuestra Región. Reiteramos a los Miembros del Sistema, que cada día que transcurre sin Secretaría General, el SICA se debilita más y más, y cada País y cada Gobierno van buscando, como és lógico, Mecanismos alternativos para realizar, unilateralmente, sus gestiones propias.
Esto, como decimos, conlleva al progresivo empobrecimiento de la gestión que nuestra Región puede realizar con más efectividad, desde una perspectiva de Integración y Unión.
Nicaragua, Bendita, Soberana y Siempre Libre, agradece a Centroamérica los esfuerzos que seguimos realizando para lograr el consenso hacia un SICA fortalecido y al servicio de nuestros Pueblos, que luchamos contra la Pobreza, como el principal adversario de la Vida Segura, en Paz, con Derechos y Bienestar.
Propondremos realizar nuevos Encuentros para alcanzar la cada vez más necesaria decisión, que no puede seguirse postergando, a menos que Centroamérica decida prescindir de este Sistema, en vez de robustecerlo.
Por otra parte, no tomar las decisiones correspondientes, equivale a no reconocer el Derecho de nuestros Pueblos a contar con un Organismo de Integración que desde una Secretaría General nos represente, como Países y Pueblos Independientes, que caminamos, para crear juntos, como quisieron nuestros Próceres, el Futuro Digno y de Progreso que las Familias y Comunidades Centroamericanas merecemos.

ABOUT SICA
The Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of Nicaragua sends a fraternal greeting to all the Peoples and Governments of Our Central America, gathered in the Central American Integration System.
Today, the Foreign Ministers' Meeting was held to decide on Proposals to the Presidents of the Region, pending since November 16th 2023, relating to the General Secretariat of SICA, whose Chair corresponds, by Right and In-stitutional Order of the System, to the People and Government of Nicaragua.
The Meeting ended without consensus due to consultations still being carried out by Governments of our Region. We reiter-ate to the Members of the System that every day that passes without a General Secretariat, SICA is weakening more and more, as each Country and each Government, look. naturally, for alternative mecha-nisms to carry out actions on their own, unilaterally.
This, as we say, from an Integration and Union perspective leads to the progres-sive impoverishment of the management that our Region might carry out more ef-fectively.
Nicaragua, Blessed, Sovereign and Forever Free, thanks Central America for the ef-forts we continue to make to achieve consen-sus towards a strengthened SICA serving our Peoples, who are fighting Poverty, as the main adversary of a Secure Life, in Peace, with Rights and Well-being.
We will propose holding new Meetings to reach the increasingly necessary decision, which cannot be postponed any longer, unless Cen-tral America decides to do without this System, instead of strengthening it.
On the other hand, not taking the correspond-ing decisions is tantamount to not recogniz-ing the Right of our Peoples to have an Integration Organization, representing us by means of a General Secretariat, as Inde-pendent Countries and Peoples, who are making our way, creating together, as our Heroes wanted, the Dignified Future and Progress that Central America's Families and Com-munities deserve.
