Vamos a darle la palabra al Heredero del Legado de Augusto César Sandino, el Copresidente Daniel Ortega, que está allá con nuestra Querida Hermana, la Copresidenta Rosario Murilo. ¡Adelante, Nicaragua!

¿Qué tal Nicolás? Ahí te hemos visto con el Pueblo, marchando, ¡Siempre Adelante!
Es cierto que enfrentamos, a lo largo de nuestra Historia, a enemigos poderosos que parecieran invencibles. Y estos enemigos poderosos se logran vencer, se logran derrotar, con firmeza, con valor, sin dejar de caminar. Y ya le decía el Quijote a Sancho, cuando los perros ladraban y querían morder, y Sancho se preocupaba, el Quijote le decía: No les hagas caso, Sancho; si ladran es porque caminamos.
Ellos quieren paralizar a los Pueblos con amenazas, con ladridos, con mordidas; o sea, las sanciones son mordida, morder a los Pueblos para aterrorizarlos, y realmente el aporte, a lo largo de la Historia de la gesta libertadora encabezada por Bolívar, tuvo impacto en toda Nuestramérica y dio lugar a que, a partir de las derrotas sufridas por el Imperio español, pudiese lograrse la Independencia de Centroamérica, del Imperio español.
En estos momentos también hubo quienes querían anexar a la Centroamérica que había declarado la Independencia, la querían anexar al Imperio de Iturbide, que estaba entronizado todavía en México. Pero eso no paso. Y ya a los pocos años de la Independencia de Centroamérica, donde los Países Centroamericanos decretaron la abolición de la esclavitud, un esclavista de los Estados Unidos, William Walker, invadió nuestro Territorio, y esto tenía que ver con el plan del yanqui de apoderarse de Nicaragua, apoderarse de Centroamérica; apoderándose de Centroamérica, apoderarse de México, e ir sobre los mismos Estados Unidos a retomar la zona que los Estados Unidos que había logrado derrotar en la guerra entre el Norte y el Sur, había logrado derrotar al Sur que defendía la esclavitud.
Walker llegó a Nicaragua con una fuerza de militares, encabezada por un Coronel, el Coronel Byron Cole, llevaban armamento moderno, que no lo tenían los Ejércitos centroamericanos y tampoco el Ejército de Nicaragua, y valiéndose de las actitudes vendepatrias, desde una de las fuerzas políticas que se encontraba en contradicción con otra fuerza política allá en Nicaragua, entonces la fuerza política le dio la entrada a Walker, invitó a Walker a llegar para ayudar a defender a Nicaragua, y a cambio garantizar a una empresa norteamericana de Cornelius Vanderbilt, garantizarle el tránsito, el libre tránsito de la Costa Este a la Costa Oeste de los Estados Unidos, porque el tráfico de los norteamericanos estaba desbordado buscando cómo viajar a la Costa Oeste, porque estaba el hambre del Oro.
Eran miles de Familias que transitaban todo el territorio norteamericano corriendo peligro, porque los asaltaban, porque había alguna resistencia indígena, también ahí; entonces, Vanderbilt vio los mapas y buscó los pasos aquí en Centroamérica y se encontró con que había un paso natural aquí en Nicaragua.
Estamos hablando de los años 1854, 1855, 1856, cuando se produce el desembarco de las tropas de William Walker, y luego Walker lo que hace es irse apoderando del País, ir tomando todo el poder de los que lo habían traído, incluso fusilándolos, y, en esas condiciones, donde la población nicaragüense era una población que no llegaba al millón de personas, era mucho menos la población de Nicaragua, con Ejércitos, con armamento y fusiles que no tenían las capacidades, la efectividad de los que traía Walker, no se rindieron, no se rindieron frente a Walker.
Porque Walker avanzó tan rápido que primero nombró a un Presidente y luego se nombró Presidente él; inventó una elección, y, electo William Walker, Presidente de Nicaragua, reconocido por el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos de entonces.
Y a esa fuerza de Walker, que era una fuerza poderosa comparada con la fuerza que tenía la fuerza nicaragüense, que se fue reuniendo al mando del General José Dolores Estrada y donde se unieron también los Indígenas de Matagalpa, una zona que se encuentra al Norte de Nicaragua; se unieron, se atrincheraron en una Hacienda, San Jacinto, y ahí se atrincheraron, detrás de los muros de piedras que estaban ahí, que los protegiera, para combatir a los invasores. Y se dio el combate. Como resultado del combate cayó el Coronel norteamericano Byron Cole, ese fue un golpe muy fuerte para ellos.
Mientras tanto, resistían en la Hacienda San Jacinto las tropas que se quedaban sin municiones, que no tenían armamento de repetición, y ahí es donde surge la bravura, el valor, de nuestro Héroe Andrés Castro, que cuando avanza un soldado yanqui sobre la trinchera, él no tiene municiones y lo que hace es tomar una piedra y derriba al yanqui invasor. ¡Y salieron derrotados!
Fueron expulsados de Nicaragua, los vino a recoger lógicamente un barco de los Estados Unidos, los mandaron a traer, los recibieron como héroes allá en los Estados Unidos, y esa fue la primera prueba de fuego de Nicaragua frente a las embestidas del Imperialismo expansionista.
Luego hubo una segunda batalla, cuando estando en el gobierno un Gobierno Liberal, no le podían llamar Comunista porque todavía no habían Partidos Comunistas en estos Países; entonces, el Liberalismo, cuando toma el Gobierno en Elecciones, encabezados por el General José Santos Zelaya, empieza a hacer reformas, profundas reformas que no les aprobaba el Gobierno yanqui, que las condenaba el Gobierno yanqui y, al final, el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos, a través de su Canciller, le manda una nota al Presidente Zelaya y le dice que se tiene que marchar, porque ya las tropas norteamericanas van para Nicaragua, y si no se marcha lo van a capturar.
Zelaya no tuvo el temple para ponerse al frente y resistir, lo asumió otro Líder del Liberalismo, el General Benjamín Zeledón, y él organizó un destacamento que empezó a luchar contra las tropas yanquis que desembarcaban en Corinto y se dirigían a El Coyotepe, donde estaba atrincherado el General Zeledón. Esa fue una batalla heroica.
Como no podían lograr que se rindiera Zeledón y les estaba provocando bajas, entonces le propusieron que se rindiera y que le iban a perdonar la Vida... Zeledón dijo: ¡Yo no me rindo!, y escribió una carta, y en esta carta ahí él le escribía a su esposa, a sus hijos, y les decía que iba a dar la Vida, porque él no podía rendirse frente a los invasores.
La carta la envió en los días en que ya estaba a punto de caer en combate, y fue en el Mes de Octubre, el 4 de Octubre de 1912, que el General Benjamín Zeledón, Héroe Nacional, Antiimperialista firme, entregó su Vida por la Soberanía de Nicaragua.
El cadáver de Zeledón lo anduvieron paseando por todos lados los yanquis, para sembrarle temor a la población. Y ahí es donde un muchacho, Sandino que era un muchacho, vio, él mismo contaba, cuando vio la humillación que le hacían a Nicaragua, que le hacían al General Zeledón, él se enardeció y ahí él decidió enfrentarse a los invasores.
Y enfrentó a los invasores yanquis y libró una batalla larga, de años; los yanquis utilizaron aviación tratando de derrotarlo, pero cada día salían más bajas de las tropas yanquis, que las enfrentaba Sandino con su Ejército de Campesinos en las montañas de Nicaragua. Al final, a los yanquis no les quedó más camino que retirarse, o sea, fueron derrotados por el General Sandino.
Ya después de la derrota vinieron los Acuerdos de Paz con el Presidente Sacasa, y Somoza que era agente de los yanquis que lo habían dejado al frente del Ejército de Nicaragua, le tendió una emboscada después de ser recibido por el Presidente Sacasa que lo invitó a cenar. Ahí ya habían firmado los Acuerdos de Paz, entonces la cena para Sandino, Sandino acompañado de su padre y Compañeros del Estado Mayor.
Entonces terminó la cena en horas de la noche, y cuando ellos vienen saliendo de la cena y vienen bajando sobre una avenida que pasa a la orilla de los cuarteles que ocupaban los yanquis, que ocupaba Somoza, ahí la Guardia de Somoza lo detiene, lo cercan, y él reclama.
La hija del Presidente Sacasa que había estado en la cena, que venía bajando también y ve que tienen detenido al General Sandino, reclama; pero, sencillamente, después los fusilaron a todos ellos y pensaban que de esa manera Nicaragua iba a estar sometida al Imperio yanqui, y sometida, por lo tanto, también al criminal que dejaron los yanquis aquí gobernando Nicaragua: Somoza. Pero cuando hay Conciencia, cuando hay Valor, cuando hay Amor a la Patria, el Pueblo sigue esperando el momento de acabar con los traidores, acabar con los vendepatrias.
Y después de Sandino, Combatientes del Ejército Defensor de Sandino incursionaron, luchaban y hubo varias incursiones guerrilleras y los derrotaban. Eran Fuerzas Guerrilleras muy pequeñas y en condiciones difíciles, pero estaba el valor, la resistencia de librar la batalla aún en condiciones desventajosas.
Al final, jóvenes, Herederos del Pensamiento de Sandino, organizaron el Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional, y el Frente tuvo que librar una larga batalla, miles de muertos, y la Guardia de Somoza armada por los norteamericanos, entrenada por los norteamericanos, pero al final se logró.
También, bajo la inspiración del Triunfo de la Revolución Cubana, eso le dio más fuerza, más moral a los nicaragüenses. Cuba había triunfado en el 59 y 20 años después triunfa la Revolución nicaragüense; cuando se aseguraba que ya había llegado el fin de las Revoluciones en América Latina y el Caribe, triunfa la Revolución nicaragüense.
Luego hemos tenido un largo recorrido, enfrentando siempre las conspiraciones, los intentos de destruir el Proceso Revolucionario, y tenemos un Pueblo, una Juventud incorporada a todas las actividades que tienen que ver con el Bienestar del Pueblo, el combate a la Pobreza, y desarrollando Proyectos, porque nuestro objetivo principal sigue siendo la Paz.
Nosotros somos Defensores de la Paz, Sandino luchó por la Paz y nosotros queremos la Paz; pero tenemos sí, en el Norte, el Norte que se siente dueño de Nuestramérica. Y la famosa Doctrina Monroe no es más que la determinación de adueñarse de toda América Latina y del Caribe.
Yo diría que ha habido un eje fundamental que ha contribuido a fortalecer la resistencia y la lucha de los Pueblos Latinoamericanos, que es el que lograron instalar nuestro Hermano Mayor, el Comandante Fidel Castro, y nuestro Hermano, Comandante Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías; ellos dos, Fidel, el padre, y Hugo, el hijo, y ellos lograron que se diera un salto en lo que es la defensa de los Derechos y la Identidad de los Pueblos de Nuestramérica.
Y el primer gran paso fue la creación del ALBA y, a pesar de todos los vaivenes, a pesar de todas las amenazas, a pesar de todas las sanciones, el ALBA sigue viva, el ALBA sigue caminando y, como le decía el Quijote a Sancho: No te preocupés, los perros ladran porque vamos caminando, y cuanto más nos vean caminar, cuanta más fortaleza y más firmeza vean en nosotros, más ladrarán, más morderán.
Y este cerco, ellos están en su proyecto cercando militarmente a la región, tomando como punto de partida la República Bolivariana de Venezuela con el cuento del narcotráfico, y se han descubierto; ya se decía que lo que quieren es el petróleo del Pueblo venezolano, ¿y qué es lo que han hecho? Robarse un barco petrolero. ¡Es un robo! ¡Son ladrones! Ladrones de etiqueta, sí, de etiqueta, porque ellos se sienten con el derecho de robar, robarse el barco, robarse el petróleo que llevaba el barco
Tenemos que condenar lógicamente esas agresiones, que son agresiones que están apuntando a todos los Países de la CELAC. Y habrá algunos Gobiernos que piensan que porque son “amigos” del Gobierno de los Estados Unidos les va a ir bien. Los Gobernantes norteamericanos, el Imperio norteamericano, los Imperialistas de la Tierra no tienen amigos.
Eso que hicieron en Honduras de decir quién tenía que ser el Presidente, pobre Presidente, porque no sabemos cómo le irá a ir, no vemos ahí a los Estados Unidos, que aborrece, aborrece al Pueblo hondureño, aborrece a los Pueblos Centroamericanos, los odia por la migración, no vemos ahí, ellos van a buscar cómo imponerse, y si el Presidente que resulte finalmente electo ahí no acata, entonces ya no será amigo, será enemigo.
Estos son momentos realmente extraordinarios en la lucha por la Paz en el Mundo, porque vemos a la Unión Europea tocando tambores de guerra, para meterse, como ya se ha metido, en favor de los nazis de Ucrania, en contra de la República de la Federación Rusa.
Esa es una guerra, una lucha que está librando el Pueblo ruso contra los nazis, los nazis en tierras donde viven millones de rusos y que los han discriminado, los han asesinado, y vemos a la Unión Europea tocando tambores de guerra.
Y el Papa clamando por la Paz. Los Pueblos quieren la Paz. Estamos seguros que el Pueblo de Ucrania quiere la Paz, igual, estamos seguros que el Pueblo de Israel quiere la Paz, pero hay un Gobierno y un Partido también de corte fascista; es decir, después de que los nazis se ensañaron en el Pueblo de Israel, ahora viene este Partido gobernante y se ensaña en el Pueblo Palestino, cuando son Pueblos Hermanos, pero se ensaña en el Pueblo Palestino y trata de aniquilarlo, desaparecerlo, queriendo negarle los Derechos que tiene el Pueblo Palestino para poder desarrollarse. Es terrible la destrucción, ahí han desbaratado las ciudades, las viviendas; miles de niños asesinados.
Y en los Estados Unidos la persecución contra los migrantes, es una expresión del racismo que existe en los Gobernantes norteamericanos, y estoy seguro que, la mayoría del Pueblo norteamericano no está de acuerdo con la persecución que hay contra los migrantes, porque esos inmigrantes le trabajan al Pueblo norteamericano.
O sea, le están haciendo la guerra a los migrantes, los están expulsando y están aplicando una política racista, y eso no puede ir por buen camino, la política que se ha venido implantando en los Estados Unidos, donde el Pueblo norteamericano está sufriendo el impacto de las medidas económicas que ha tomado el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos, en contra de Programas Sociales, en contra de Programas de Salud, en contra de Programas que son esenciales para el Pueblo norteamericano.
Hay un rechazo a todas las medidas que viene tomando el Gobierno de los Estados Unidos, y amenazando, vive amenazando a México, amenazando a Colombia, amenazando ya con ir contra Colombia, ir contra México, meter sus tropas; o sea, lo dice tranquilamente. Van a reaccionar los Pueblos, sí, y va a reaccionar el Pueblo norteamericano, y tendrá que establecerse la Paz en el Mundo.
Y el Pueblo de Bolívar, de Chávez, de Nicolás, al Pueblo Bolivariano, que ha estado siendo sometido a un intento de estrangulamiento, ese es un Pueblo que tiene en sus Ciudadanos, Hombres, Mujeres, Jóvenes, Trabajadores, Campesinos, todos ellos son Bolívar, todos ellos son Chávez, todos ellos tienen esa fortaleza y no están huyendo porque están siendo amarrados con cercos militares y amenazas de invasión terrestre. De ahí nadie sale huyendo ante esas amenazas.
Más bien, el Pueblo anda alegre, contento, firme, listo a enfrentar lo que se les ocurra a estos señores hacer, con la convicción de que van a derrotarlos. Y la derrota ya está, porque ese es un Pueblo que está en Paz. No
ha logrado provocar la sublevación del Pueblo contra el Gobierno; al contrario, hay una unidad total del Pueblo con las Autoridades de Gobierno y con el Presidente Nicolás, y con el Ejército bolivariano.
Es decir, hay una unidad, hay alegría, o sea, no andan aterrorizados porque están los barcos yanquis ahí nomás, no andan aterrorizados, y un Pueblo que tiene esa moral, que tiene esa fortaleza, siempre vencerá, y ustedes ya están venciendo, Queridos Hermanos, y son un ejemplo de inspiración para los Pueblos Latinoamericanos y Caribeños y para los Pueblos del Mundo.
Compartimos completamente el planteamiento que hacía el Presidente Nicolás Maduro sobre cómo organizarnos, sobre cómo trabajar con un mayor rendimiento y con puntos ya claros a desarrollar. Esto lógicamente nos va a dar una mayor fortaleza en todos los aspectos, porque nos vamos a unir aún más de lo que hemos estado, ya moviendo todos estos factores de los que hablaba el Presidente Nicolás Maduro.
Y nuestra Solidaridad, como siempre, con el Pueblo Heroico de Martí, de Fidel, de Raúl y de nuestro Hermano Presidente Miguel Díaz-Canel. Miguel Díaz-Canel estuvo aquí en Nicaragua cuando nos enfrentábamos a la Contra, y estuvo al lado de Jinotega en las zonas de combate, en las zonas de guerra.
Saludamos al Primer Ministro de la Mancomunidad de Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit; al Primer Ministro de Santa Lucía, Philip J. Pierre; al Ministro de Asuntos Exteriores, Comercio y Asuntos de Antigua y Barbuda, Paul Chet Greene.
Saludamos al Ministro de Asuntos Exteriores, Comercio Internacional, Industria y Comercio, Asuntos del Consumidor, Desarrollo Económico e Inversión de la Federación de San Cristóbal y Nieves, Denzil Douglas; al Ministro de Asuntos Exteriores, Comercio y Desarrollo de Exportaciones de Grenada, Joseph Andall; al Ministro de Asuntos Exteriores, Comercio Exterior, Inversión Extranjera y Asuntos de la Diáspora de San Vicente y las Granadinas, David Fitzgerald Bamberg.
Para todos ellos, Hermanos, nuestros saludos para su Pueblo y el compromiso de seguir acercándonos para fortalecer nuestras relaciones en todos los campos. Sabemos que todos enfrentamos mayores o menores dificultades, pero todos enfrentamos dificultades, y que el camino para superar esas dificultades lo trazó Fidel, lo trazó Chávez : ¡Es el ALBA! Y unidos, ya estamos venciendo.
Solo el hecho que estemos reunidos en este día, que tengamos este intercambio, es una muestra de firmeza, de valor, de lealtad con nuestros Pueblos, con Fidel y también con Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías.
¡Adelante, Hermanos! Abrazos Fraternos del Pueblo nicaragüense.

Le agradecemos tod@s la reflexión histórica, las orientaciones y las lecciones que nos deja este Camino Extraordinario. Es una Historia única todo lo que se cuenta, no es ciencia ficción, no es Supermán, son nuestros Héroes, Sandino allí, Andrés Castro, como David contra Goliat.
Al final, llevamos la Fuerza de David frente al Goliat de hoy, el de ayer, y el que venga. Llevamos la honda de David, la honda de los Pueblos, Bendecidos por Dios. Porque David le dijo a Goliat: Podrás tener esa escafandra, podrás tener la espada más grande que se haya visto nunca, podrás medir 2 metros de altura, y él aquí flaquito y pequeñito, pero no tienes lo que tengo yo, le dijo. Y Goliat le dijo: ¿Y qué tienes tú? Tengo el Poder y las Bendiciones y el Poder y Bendiciones de mi Pueblo. Y güin, güin, güin, ¡se acabó Goliat!
David, somos David en el Siglo XXI, y vamos con Sandino venciendo, Sandino por siempre ahí. Creyeron que lo fusilaron y lo mataron, pero Sandino se sembró en la Sangre, en la Tierra y en el Corazón de ese Pueblo, y luego resucitó aquel hermoso Proceso del 19 de Julio de 1979. Así que, bueno, nuestros saludos.
Siempre Bolívar hablando de la Paz, nuestro Objetivo, nuestra Vida, nuestras Fuerza, nuestra Lucha, y Bolívar, el 23 de Junio de 1820, un año y un día antes de la Batalla de Carabobo dijo una frase que es un mantra para nosotros: “La Paz será mi Puerto, mi Gloria, mi Recompensa, mi Esperanza, mi Dicha y cuanto es precioso en el Mundo”. La Paz, la Paz que triunfa todos los días y la Paz que construiremos con bases sólidas y firmes en el esfuerzo que estamos haciendo.
Yo quisiera antes de darle la palabra al Líder Caribeño, Primer Ministro de la Mancomunidad de Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, que he comunicado a las Delegaciones de nuestros 9 Países una Propuesta que hemos venido trabajando para, en el Espíritu de la Misión Milagro, Compañero Presidente Miguel Díaz-Canel y Pueblo de Cuba, en el Espíritu de la Misión Milagro crear una Misión Especial de Energía y Electricidad del ALBA con carácter internacional.
Una Misión Especial para apoyar de manera extraordinaria y especial al Pueblo de Cuba en su lucha contra el bloqueo y la afectación de todos los temas de Energía y electricidad. Sería Misión Internacional de Energía y Electricidad de apoyo especial para el Pueblo de Cuba. Está sometida a consideración, y bueno, ahora daremos noticias sobre esta Resolución.

How are you Nicolas? We have seen you with the People there, marching, Always Further On!
It is true that we have faced, throughout our history, powerful enemies who seemed invincible. And these powerful enemies ended up being defeated, they ended up being defeated firmly, with courage, without making us stop. And against that force of Walker’s, which was a powerful force compared to the Nicaraguan force, which was gathering under the command of General José Dolores Estrada and where the Indigenous people of Matagalpa, an area that is located in the north of Nicaragua, also joined; they joined, they set up barricades in a Hacienda, San Jacinto, where they barricaded themselves behind the stone walls that were there, to protect themselves as they fought the invaders. And the fight took place. And as a result of the combat, the US Colonel Byron Cole fell, and that was a very hard blow for them.
Meanwhile, the troops were running out of ammunition were resisting at the Hacienda San Jacinto, and they had no repeating weapons, and that's where the bravery, the courage, of our Hero Andrés Castro arose, such that when a Yankee soldier advanced on his trench, he had no ammunition and what he did was to take a stone and knock down the invading Yankee. And they were defeated!
They were expelled from Nicaragua, they were of course picked up by a ship from the United States, which was sent to fetch them, and they were received as heroes back in the United States, and that was Nicaragua's first acid test in the face of the onslaughts of expansionist imperialism.
Then came a second battle, when a Liberal Government was in government, back then they could not call it Communist yet because there were no Communist Parties in these Countries then; so, Liberalism, when it came to government in elections, headed by General José Santos Zelaya, began to make reforms, profound reforms that the Yankee government did not approve of, that the Yankee government condemned and, in the end, the US Government, via its Foreign Minister, sent a note to President Zelaya telling him that he had to leave office, because US troops were already heading to Nicaragua, and if he didn’t leave they would capture him.
Zelaya did not have the mettle to step up and resist, but another Liberal leader, General Benjamin Zeledón, took over, and he organized a detachment that began fighting against the Yankee troops who landed in Corinto and headed to El Coyotepe, where General Zeledón was entrenched. That was a heroic battle.
Since they could not get Zeledón to surrender and he was causing them casualties, they proposed that he surrender and that they would spare his life... Zeledon said: I am not surrendering!, and he wrote a letter, and in this letter there he wrote to his wife, to his children, telling them he was going to give his life, because he could not surrender to the invaders.
He sent the letter on the days when he was already about to fall in combat, and it was in the Month of October, on October 4, 1912, that General Benjamín Zeledón, National Hero, staunch Anti-Imperialist, gave his life for the Sovereignty of Nicaragua.
The Yankees dragged around Zeledón's corpse everywhere, so as to instill fear in the population. And that's where a boy, Sandino who was a boy, saw this, as he related himself, how when he saw the humiliation being done to Nicaragua, being done to General Zeledón, he became angry and thus decided to confront the invaders.
And he faced the Yankee invaders and, for years, fought a long battle; the Yankees used aviation trying to defeat him, but every day more casualties were suffered by the Yankee troops, which Sandino faced with his Army of Peasants in the mountains of Nicaragua. In the end, the Yankees had no choice but to retreat, that is to say, they were defeated by General Sandino.
Then after the defeat came the Peace Agreements with President Sacasa and with Somoza who he was an agent of the Yankees who had left him at the head of the Nicaraguan Army, and he ambushed Sandino after a reception with President Sacasa who had invited him to dinner. At that point they had already signed the Peace Accords, so the dinner was for Sandino, Sandino accompanied by his father and Compañeros from the General Staff.
The dinner ended at night time, and when they come out of dinner and were going down an avenue that passed by the barracks used by the Yankees, occupied by Somoza, there Somoza's Guard stopped him, they surrounded him, and he protested.
The daughter of President Sacasa who had been at the dinner, who was also coming down saw that General Sandino is being detained and protested; but, simply, they shot all of them later and they thought that in that way Nicaragua would be subjected to the Yankee Empire, and therefore also to the self-same criminal the Yankees left here governing Nicaragua: Somoza. But when there is Consciousness, when there is Courage, when there is Love for the Patriotic Nation, the People simply waiting for the moment to put an end to the traitors, to put an end to the quislings.
And after Sandino, fighters of the Sandino’s Army in Defense of National Sovereignty continued raiding, fighting and there were several guerrilla incursions which were defeated. They were very small guerrilla forces, in difficult conditions, but they showed courage and endurance to fight the battle even in disadvantageous conditions.
In the end, young people, heirs of Sandino's vision, organized the Sandinista National Liberation Front, and the Front had to fight a long battle, with thousands of dead, against the Somoza Guard armed by the US, trained by the US, but in the end they achieved victory.
Also, inspired by the Triumph of the Cuban Revolution, that gave Nicaraguans more strength, more morale. Cuba had triumphed in 1959 and 20 years later the Nicaraguan Revolution triumphed; at a time when it was assured that the end had already arrived of Revolutions in Latin America and the Caribbean, but then the Nicaraguan Revolution triumphed.
Since then we have had a long journey, always confronting conspiracies, attempts to destroy the Revolutionary Process, but we have a People, a Youth incorporated into all activities that contribute to the Well-being of the People, the fight against Poverty, and developing Projects, because our main objective remains Peace.
We are Defenders of Peace, Sandino fought for Peace and we want Peace; but we have, in the North, a North that feels it owns all Our America. And the famous Monroe Doctrine is nothing more than their determination to take over all of Latin America and the Caribbean.
I would say that there has been a fundamental axis that has strengthened the resistance and struggle of the Latin American Peoples, which is the one that our Elder Brother, Comandante Fidel Castro, and our Brother, Comandante Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías, managed to install; those two, Fidel, the father, and Hugo, the son, managed to make a leap in what is the defense of the Rights and Identity of the Peoples of Our America.
And their first big step was the creation of ALBA and, despite all the ups and downs, despite all the threats, despite all the sanctions, ALBA is still alive, ALBA is making its way and, as Don Quixote said to Sancho: “Don't worry, the dogs bark because we are making our way, and the more they see us make our way, the more strength and steadfastness they see in us, the more they will bark, the more they will bite.
And with this siege, they are carrying out their project of militarily encircling the region, taking the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela as a starting point with the story of drug trafficking, and they have been found out; it was already said that what they want is the oil of the Venezuelan people, and what have they done? They stole an oil tanker. It's robbery! They are thieves! Fancy thieves, yes, etiquette, because they feel they have the right to steal, steal the ship, and steal the oil that the ship was carrying.
Of course, we have to condemn this aggression, which is aggression targeting all the CELAC Countries. Maybe there will be some governments that think that because they are "friends” of the US government and they will do well. But the US rulers, the US Empire, the Imperialists of the Earth have no friends.
What they did in Honduras was say who the President should be, the worse for that President, because we don't know how it will go, we don't see the US there, since it hates, really hates the Honduran people, hates the Central American Peoples, hates them for being migrants, we don't see any good outcome there, they are going to seek to impose themselves, and if the President who is finally elected there does not obey them, then he will no longer be a friend, he will be an enemy.
These are truly extraordinary moments in the struggle for peace in the World, because we see the European Union beating the drums of war, getting involved, as it has already done, supporting the Nazis in Ukraine, against the Republic of the Russian Federation.
This is a war, a struggle being waged by the Russian people against Nazis, Nazis in lands where millions of Russians live and they have discriminated against them, murdered them, and still we see the European Union beating drums of war.
And the Pope crying out for peace. The people want peace. We are sure that the People of Ukraine want Peace, just the same, we are sure that the People of Israel want Peace, but there is a Government and a Party also of a fascist nature; that is to say, after the Nazis rampaged through the People of Israel, now this ruling Party comes and rampages through the Palestinian People, when they are Fraternal Peoples, but it rampages through the Palestinian People trying to annihilate them, disappear them, wanting to deny the Rights that the Palestinians have in order to develop as a People. The destruction is terrible, whole cities with homes have been destroyed there; thousands of children have been murdered.
And in the United States, the persecution of migrants is an expression of the racism that exists among the US rulers, and I am sure that the majority of the US people do not agree with the persecution that there is against migrants, because those immigrants work for the US people.
In other words, they are waging war on migrants, they are expelling them and applying a racist policy, and that cannot work out well, the policy that has been implemented in the United States, where the US people are suffering the impact of the economic measures the United States Government has taken, against Social Programs, against Health Programs, against Programs that are essential for the US People.
There is a rejection of all the measures that the US government has been taking, and threatening to take, it lives threatening Mexico, threatening Colombia, threatening now to go against Colombia, to go against Mexico, to bring in troops; in other words, it says it with every sign of calm. The peoples will react, yes, and the US people will react, for Peace must be established in the World.
And the People of Bolívar, of Chávez, of Nicolás, the Bolivarian People, who have been subjected to an attempt at strangulation, that is a People that has in its Citizens, Men, Women, Young People, Workers, Peasants, all of them are Bolívar, all of them are Chávez, all of them have that strength and they are not fleeing because they are being encircled militarily with threats of ground invasion. No one is running away from these threats.
Instead, the People are cheerful, happy, steadfast, ready to face whatever these gentlemen may think of doing and with the conviction that they will defeat them. And the defeat is already there, because that is a People that at Peace. No one has managed to provoke any uprising of the People against the Government; on the contrary, there is total unity of the People with the Government Authorities and with President Nicolás, and with the Bolivarian Army.
That is to say, there is unity, there is joy, which is to say they are not terrified because the Yankee ships are there nearby, they are not terrified, and a People which has that morality and has that strength, will always overcome, and you are already overcoming, Beloved Brothers and Sisters, you are an example of inspiration for the Latin American and Caribbean Peoples and for the Peoples of the World.
We completely share the approach that President Nicolás Maduro has suggested on how to organize ourselves, on how to work with greater performance and nowwith clear points to develop. This will naturally give us greater strength in all aspects, because we are going to unite even more than we have done, now moving forward on all these factors that President Nicolás Maduro has talked about.
And our solidarity, as always, with the Heroic People of Martí, Fidel, Raúl and our Brother President Miguel Díaz-Canel. Miguel Díaz-Canel was here in Nicaragua when we were confronting the Contras, and he was at Jinotega's side in the combat zones, in the war zones.

We know that all of us face greater or lesser difficulties, but we all face difficulties, and the way to overcome these difficulties was traced by Fidel, by Chávez: It is ALBA! And united, we are already overcoming.
Just the fact that we are gathered on this day, that we have this exchange, is a sign of the steadfastness, of the courage, of the loyalty of our Peoples, to Fidel and also to Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías.

Remarks by President Nicolás Maduro Moros
We all thank you for the historical reflection, the guidance and lessons this Extraordinary Trajectory leaves us. Everything that is told is a unique story, not science fiction, not Superman, these are our Heroes, Sandino there and Andrés Castro, like David against Goliath.
In the end, we bring David's Strength to confront today's Goliath, yesterday's Goliath, and whoever else may come. We carry the sling of David, the sling of the Peoples, Blessed by God. Because David said to Goliath: You can have that armor, you can have the biggest sword that has ever been seen, you can be 2 meters tall, and I’m skinny and tiny here, but you don't have what I have, David told him. And Goliath said to him, And what have you got then? I have the Power and the Blessings, the Power and the Blessings of my People. And güin, güin, güin, it's over for Goliath!
David, we are David in the XXI Century, and we are go onward with Sandino conquering, Sandino there forever. They thought they had shot and killed him, but Sandino sowed himself in the Blood, in the Soil, in the Heart of that People, and then resurrected in that beautiful Revolutionary Process of July 19, 1979. So, then, our greetings.
Always, Bolivar talked about Peace as our Goal, our Life, our Strength, our Struggle, and Bolivar, on June 23rd 1820, a year and a day before the Battle of Carabobo wrote a phrase that is a mantra for us: “Peace will be my Port, my Glory, my Reward, my Hope, my Joy and all that is precious in the World.” Peace, the Peace that triumphs every day and the Peace that we will build with solid and firm foundations in the effort that we are making.
Before giving the floor to the Caribbean Leader, Prime Minister of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Roosevelt Skerrit, I would like to inform the Delegations of our nine Countries of a Proposal that we have been working on, in the Spirit of the Mission Miracle, with Compañero President Miguel Diaz-Canel and the People of Cuba, in the Spirit of the Mission Miracle, to create an international Special ALBA Energy and Electricity Mission.
A Special Mission to support the People of Cuba in an extraordinary and special way in their struggle against the blockade and the effects of all the energy and electricity issues. It will be an International Energy and Electricity Mission of special support for the People of Cuba. It is submitted for consideration, and well, we will give news now about this Resolution.
