En ocasión de conmemorarse el 66º Aniversario de la Independencia de la República de Senegal, este próximo 4 de Abril, el Pueblo y Gobierno de Reconciliación y Unidad Nacional de la República de Nicaragua se une con profundo respeto y admiración a las Celebraciones del Hermano Pueblo senegalés, que en 1960, bajo el liderazgo histórico de figuras como Léopold Sédar Senghor, conquistó su Autodeterminación, afirmando su Identidad, Dignidad y Soberanía.
En esta fecha histórica, rendimos Homenaje a la Valentía, la Conciencia Nacional y la firme Voluntad de un Pueblo que, en el marco del proceso de descolonización africana, supo abrir camino hacia la Libertad, la Justicia y la construcción de un Estado Independiente, basado en Valores de Unidad, Cultura y Paz.
Desde nuestra Nicaragua, Siempre Bendita y Siempre Libre, reafirmamos los profundos lazos históricos de Solidaridad entre nuestros Pueblos, así como nuestra firme voluntad de continuar fortaleciendo las Relaciones de Amistad, Cooperación y Respeto Mutuo entre nuestras Naciones.

On the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Senegal, this coming April 4, the People and Government of Reconciliation and National Unity of the Republic of Nicaragua join, with deep respect and admiration, in the celebrations of the Brotherly People of Senegal, who in 1960, under the historic leadership of figures such as Léopold Sédar Senghor, achieved self-determination, affirming their identity, dignity, and sovereignty.
On this historic date, we pay tribute to the courage, national consciousness, and unwavering will of a people who, within the framework of the African decolonization process, knew how to forge a path toward freedom, justice, and the building of an independent state, based on the values of unity, culture, and peace.
From our Nicaragua, Always Blessed and Always Free, we reaffirm the deep historical bonds of solidarity between our peoples, as well as our firm determination to continue strengthening the bonds of friendship, cooperation, and mutual respect between our nations.
Dear Brother, please accept our best wishes for greater achievements, well-being, and prosperity, along with our fraternal and revolutionary embrace for the Senegalese families.
